Turkey's agricultural foreign trade analysis within food regime theory

In this study, the food regime theory is examined conceptually and periodically within the scope of international division of labor and specialization and within the regime, the changes and transformations in Turkey's agricultural foreign trade has been evaluated. Within the scope of the study, firstly the food regime theory is conceptually defined and the changes in the agricultural production and trade occurring in the world together with the regime periods are discussed. Then, in the same period as Turkey agricultural practices and the impact of food regime on Turkey's agricultural transformation were examined. Finally, the production failures have been identified caused by agricultural transformation occurring in Turkey and emphasized the necessity to agricultural planning for eliminate production failures.
