Abstract (EN)

In the global competitive market, businesses have to keep up with rapid developments in information and communication technologies. As a result, the needs of companies for information and communication technologies are increasing day by day. Corporations need to choose the appropriate ERP software so that information and communication technologies can be used correctly. Today, the most preferred ERP software by companies is SAP R/3. SAP R/3 is an integrated system of financial accounting, controlling, sales and distribution, production planning and material management, human resources management, quality management, plant management and project management modules. Integrating this system, requires significant investment costs for companies. The success of a company's strategic plans depend on accurately analysing the financial data which is obtained from business activities. Therefore, mainly the financial accounting and controlling modules of the SAP system are covered in the study. Since the SAP system is an integrated structure, financial accounting and controlling modules need to be mentioned in relation to other modules. In this study, the problems encountered in the integration process of the SAP system and the solution suggestions are expressed in detail.
