Abstract (EN)

In recent years, food supplementation is among the popular topics. For this reason, the examination of food supplements and customer perception in the pharmaceutical industry was determined as the aim of this study. In order to determine the customer's perception of food supplement, first of all, the 2- dimensional, 17-item "Food Supplement Perception Scale" (GTAS) was developed by the researcher. This developed scale is 2-dimensional and the explained variance was found to be .51. It was observed that the reliability coefficient of the scale was .85 in the 1st factor, .86 in the 2nd factor, general factor .86 in As a result of the scale that emerged in the research, various variables were examined. The study was carried out with voluntary participants in 4 different provinces. A total of 395 participants, 165 women and 230 men, took part in the study group. In line with the findings, a discussion was made and various suggestions were made.
