Examining satisfaction and perceived freedom level of employes of ministry of food agriculture and livestock in leisure activities they attend

The purpose of this research is to examine the satisfaction of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Employees leisure time activities and the measurement of perceived freedom levels. In total of 380 volunteered employees (men=196, women=184) of Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock participated to the research. As an information-data collection tool "Perceived Freedom Scale in Leisure" developed by Witt and Ellis (1985) and adapted into Turkish by Lapa and Ağyar (2011), and "Satisfaction Scale in Leisure " developed by Beard and Ragheb (1980) and adapted into Turkish by Karlı et.al. (2008) have been used. Data analysis of individuals personal dispersions are measured by percentage (%) and frequency (f) regular dispersions of data is analysed by Kolmogorov-Smirnof test. Though regular dispersions analysis and homogeneity are not coherent , Mann Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis tests are used in order to determine relevance of dispersions (p<0,05). So as the measure sub-dimension relations Spearman Correlation analysis is used. According to research findings, there is a significant difference in favor of the male participants physiological subscale in the leisure time satisfaction level depending on gender varieties. When age range is taken into considerationgroup of age "56-65" have more satisfactory level of leisure time activities than the other age groups. Degree of learning variable has "psychological", "relaxation", "physiological" and "aesthetics" sub-dimensions within these sub-dimensions participants who have master degree are more satisfied with their leisure time scale (p<0,05). All in all, participants perception of leisure time freedom levels and, all variable sub-dimensions contain significant differences. When leisure time satisfaction levels are taken into the consideration all variables show high level of differences.
