Abstract (EN)
Recently, food consuming is being increased by increasing world population. The studies are increased on the searching of proper package materials and modification of present them to keep fresh long time. For this purpose, especially polymeric packaging materials such as PET, Nylon 6 are widely utilized and investigated structural changes of food in these studies up to now. There were not found any studies about the changes in the packaging materials at the end of interaction between food and packaging material. In this study, degradation of PET and naylon-6 films, which are especially used for packaging materials of food in Türkiye, and occuring due to interactions food with those films were investigated. The changes of physical and mechanical properties of these packaging materials were investigated related with various conditions such as, different temperature, solution type, and interaction time. As a result of those studies, maximal storage conditions were determined according to different storage conditions, and structural changes.
