Abstract (EN)
In this study, 90 samples taken fromfoods (15 milk, 15 white cheese, 15 ice-cream, 15 mincedmeat, 15 chicken, 15 fish), which are provided for consumption in Ankara, were used as material.The total number of the aerobic mesophilic bacteria and the coliform group bacteria present in the samples was determined and after that Enterobacteriaceaea has been isolated and identified. The research, to determine the extended spectrum beta-lactamase activities and the antibiotic resistances of the Enterobacteriaceae isolates, was conducted by using double disk synergy and Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion method respectively. The total average number of aerobic mesophilic bacteria from milk, white cheese, mincedmeat, chicken, intestine of fish, gill of fish was 1,42x107 cfu/ml, 2,04x106 cfu/g, 2,29x105 cfu/g, 1,85x108 cfu/g,7,25x106 cfu/g, 2,13x106 cfu/g and 1,67x106 cfu/g; the total average number of coliform group bacteria was 8,8x104 cfu/g,1,87x104cfu/g,2,94x106 cfu/g,5,51x105cfu/g,4,14x105 cfu /g and 1,28x105cfu/g respectively. The distribution rates among 410Enterobacteriaceaestrains isolated from foods were20,8%Klebsiella spp., 15,8%Enterobacter spp., 14,4%Escherichia spp., 12,2%Citrobacter spp., 10,2%Serratia spp., 8,3%Hafnia spp., 4,9%Proteus spp., 4,4%Pantoea spp., 4,1%Providencia spp., 3,9%Morganella spp. and 0,9%Kluyvera spp.The highest resistance rates of Enterobacteriaceae strains were againstamoxicillin-clavulanic acid (30,7%), tetracycline (20,5%), ampicillin-sulbactam (18,5%) and cefoxitin (18,3%). 94 (22,9%) of 410 identified Enterobacteriaceaeisolates were displayed extended spectrum beta lactamase (ESBL) positive. The distribution rates of 94 ESBL (+)Enterobacteriaceaestrains were 21,3%E. coli, 14,9%K. oxytoca, 13,8%E. cloacae, 12,8%C. freundii, 7,4%H. alvei, 5,3%P. agglomerans, 5,3%K. pneumoniae, 4,3%S. marcescens, 4,3%M. morganii, 4,3%P. rettgeri, 4,3%P. vulgaris, 2,1%P. mirabilis. The highest resistance rates of ESBL (+) Enterobacteriaceae strains were against amoxicillin-clavulanic acid (60,6%), aztreonam (42,6%), ampicillin-sulbactam (37,2%) and cefoxitin (29,8%).
