Abstract (EN)

In this study aims to determine the extent of the effect of bacteria on the urinary system in pregnant women using statistical methods. When analyzing data collected from 150 pregnant women and 154 fetuses from Al Salam International Hospital, Misrata, Libya, the study reached important results. It was found that the highest infection rate for women was between the ages of 25 and 31 years, with an infection rate of 41.33%. The results also showed that the highest percentage of infections was in the weeks of pregnancy from 36 to 40 weeks, where it reached 70.66%, while the lowest percentage was in the weeks from 24 to 30 weeks, where it reached 07.33%. The bacteria that caused the highest infection rate was Escherichia coli "E.coli.", reaching 41.33%. The highest success rate of healthy births was recorded, reaching 64.28% out of a total of 154 births. The results also showed that the cases that were in poor condition or died amounted to 55 of the total cases. It was also found that women between the ages of 25 and 31 represent the highest percentage of cases of death or ill health of fetuses and newborns, amounting to 22.72% of the total 154 cases. Escherichia coli had the highest incidence of pulmonary dyspnea syndrome, at 20%, and Escherichia coli was the cause of BABY IS intrauterine growth restriction, at 5.45%. KLEBSİELLA shares PNEUMONİA with E.COLİ, both of which cause Baby expired in an equal ratio of 5.45%. As for STAPHYLO COCCUS SAPROPHTİC, it is unique at 1.81%, and causes THE BABY IS HYDROCEPHALY. The study concluded that it is important to monitor bacterial infections in the urinary tract of pregnant women, given the new risks they can pose to the health of the mother and fetus. It recommends the need to conduct extensive studies to understand the impact of the living environment on the presence and development of these bacterial species.
