Investion of the relationship between healty behaviorbehaviors pre pregnancy and health practices during pregnancy

This study was conducted to determine the relationship between healthy lifestyle behaviors applied before pregnancy and health practices applied during pregnancy and to determine the factors affecting it. The study was conducted with Gaziantep Şahinbey Faculty Hospital in Gaziantep and Gaziantep Dr. Ersin Arslan Mücahitler Gynecology Polyclinics between December 2018-February 2019 applied to the volunteer and 614 pregnant women according to the research criteria. The data of the study were collected by using the Individual Introduction Form Healthy Lifestyl Behavior Scale(SISL) and Health Practices in Pregnancy Scale(SESS). Descriptive statistics in SPSS 20.0 package program, Cronbach's alpha, t test, One Way Analysis of Variance, Mann-Whitney U, Kruskall Wallis, Post-Hoc test Tukey Test and Pearson Corelation Analysis were used to evaluate the data. The total score average of the pregnant women; Health Practices in Pregnancy Scale was 115.04 ±10.57 and Healthy Lifestyl Behavior Scale was 113.75±19.61. Age, occupation, place of residense, education level, co-education status and occupation, social security features affect both pre-pregnancy healthy lifestyle behaviors and health practices during pregnancy. Correlation analysis was conducted to determine the relationship between the mean scores of Health Practices in Pregnancy and Healthy Lifestyl Behavior Scale. According to these results, it can be said that healthy lifestyle behaviors applied before pregnancy and health practices applied during pregnancy positively affect and that physician, nurse and family environment are effective in developing these behaviors.
