Abstract (EN)

Applying traditional tile motifs to ceramic surfaces This research;the carnation motif ,which has an important place in the ceramic tile art motifs of Anatolian and Ottoman period,applications on ceramic surface and In terms of plastic analysis were inculuding. The tiles, which have an important place in the art of ceramic decoration, are frequently encountered with rich motifs in daily use items. Nowadays,,the search for application of tiles with unique designs in different areas and forms is continuous, inspired by traditional tile motifs were continuing. İn this research supported by scanning model ,Anatolion and Ottoman period tile ceramics were examined, in line with the acquired information;starting with traditional motifs on eleven trivet, carnation motif compositions were applied with a contemporary understanding and the study was limited by plastic analysis of these motifs. This research,it demonstrate the applicability of the carnation pattern,which is a traditional tile motif in a different form were showed. Keywords:ceramic,tile,tile design,traditional tile art.
