This research aims to understand how traditional Japanese woodblock printing art contributes to the aesthetics and conceptual design of computer games by examining its impact on the medium. To investigate ukiyo-e, the traditional Japanese woodblock print art, an analysis of Japanese culture, customs, traditions, and art was conducted. Following an in-depth examination of ukiyo-e, which reflects Japanese culture, its influence on various computer games was evaluated in the context of graphic design. Furthermore, this study aims to reveal the potential of traditional Japanese print art in the modern digital game world through graphic design methodology by developing a concept design for a computer game based on the gathered information.
