Abstract (EN)

This study includes a research aiming to reveal the forms developed in line with the refined understanding of the period together with the innovative ideas in the Romantic Period, a comprehensive literature review of non-concerto orchestral accompanied piano works, and the form analysis of two important works. The important change understanding of the period and the extent to which the innovative forms brought about by this understanding affected the music and its results were discussed; the structure of the two works mentioned was examined within the framework of a formally developing understanding. The interpretation and structural analysis of César Auguste Franck's Symphonic Variations and Frederic Chopin's Andante Spianato and Grande Polonaise works were studied. The thesis is written with the aim of guiding the pianists who want to study these two works, which can be considered as important examples of non-concerto forms that were written with orchestral accompaniment in the Romantic Period.
