Abstract (EN)
Today's energy security, sustainability, and resilience are crucial to the strength of military operations. Army bases and operational areas face challenging conditions where power options are limited to independent and uninterrupted operation in the event of an outage. Therefore, creating microgrids for military capabilities emerged as a solution. This thesis examines robust military microgrid topologies, examining their advantages, disadvantages, and application areas. The article discusses how military microgrids can be optimized with additional energy lists, energy storage technologies, and intelligent control systems. Advanced topologies include star, mesh, ring, and multi-microgrid topologies. Topologies are compared in terms of energy security, fault tolerance, and range. Furthermore, key challenges facing military microgrids, such as cybersecurity threats, cost issues, and technological limitations, are also addressed. It emphasizes that microgrids can be customized for various types and battlefields and integrated with adaptable military technologies. Ultimately, this thesis examines the potential impact of microgrid topologies on military operations and offers new solutions for energy security and sustainability. The availability, reliability, and environmental friendliness of microgrids will be crucial to contemporary military strategies. The thesis is expected to generate both academic and practical contributions to microgrid design and knowledge.
