Abstract (EN)
Aim: The aim of this study is to investigate the differences in the parameters of distance covered in the yo-yo test, maximal oxygen consumption, maximal aerobic speed, maximal sprint speed, and anaerobic speed reserve between positions in youth league football players. Material and Methods: From three different football clubs, 47 football players in the U-17 teams were included in the study. Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Level 1 Test and 30 meters Speed and Acceleration Test were applied to the football players participating in the study. Maximum oxygen consumption, maximum aerobic speed, and anaerobic speed reserve parameters were calculated with the data obtained from the tests. Results: There was a statistically significant difference between the positions in the distance covered in the yo-yo test, maximum oxygen consumption, maximum aerobic speed and anaerobic speed reserve parameters (p<0.05), while there was no statistically significant difference in the maximum sprint speed parameter (p>0,05). Conclusion: In our study, the highest values in the maximal aerobic speed parameter were seen in the wingers and then the central midfielders, while the highest values in the anaerobic speed reserve parameter were seen in the forward players and then the wingers. Key words: Anaerobic speed reserve, maximal aerobic speed, maximal sprint speed, football, positions, youth league
