Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of next lira strategy in teaching purchase product skill with using money for students with developmental disabilities. In addition, simultaneous prompting procedure, setting, materials, the effect of interpersonal generalization between one and three weeks after the end of the follow-up and social validity were investigated. Four students with developmental disabilities and between eight and thirteen years of age participated in the study. One of the single subject research designs, multiple probe design across participants was used. Dependent variables of the study were teaching children in the study, the extent to which the correct response with the skills of purchasing products whereas the independent variable is simultaneous prompting procedure in teaching using money skills in next lira strategy. The research consisted of baseline, training, probe, follow-up and generalization session. All sessions of the study were identical with each student. Data regarding inter-observer reliability and treatment integrity were also collected. Simultaneous prompting procedure was presented with the strategy of next lira determined by using graphical analysis of the effectiveness of instruction. Findings of the study indicated that simultaneous prompting procedure was effective in teaching using money skills to students with developmental disabilities in next lira strategy. Subjects were determined to retain their skills one and three weeks after training sessions were terminated, and they were also noted to generalize the target skills across different settings, people, and materials. In addition, special education teachers, the procedure was presented the strategy of buying lira in advanced teaching skills in teaching students with developmental disabilities can be applied easily stated.
