Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to define the impact of foreign direct investments in developing countries by evaluating the structure and the world wide expansion of them. Thus, the conceptions and historical development of foreign direct investments and developing countries are stated first and then the positive effect of foreign direct investments are emphasized with the Turkey case.The countries that were successful at industrialization process that turned out to be quite competitive in 20th century and multinational companies they hosted expanded all around the world for more profit and benefits. The rest of the countries that provided multinational companies with a suitable investment climate got the attention of multinational companies instantly. For some critics foreign direct investments are only for the benefit of the multinational companies. But in this study, the positive effect of foreign direct investments on the economies of developing countries, which do not have the necessary economic elements, is going to be analyzed.
