Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, it is very important that solar and wind energy, which is one of the renewable energy sources, can also be used in ships due to the reasons such as limited fossil fuel reserves, polluting the environment, causing global warming, and increasing demand for energy. In this study, which includes information about the use of solar and wind energy in ships, a sample ship was selected and solar panels and wind turbines were placed on this ship and a system under physical constraint was planned and the energy demand of the ship was tried to be met to the maximum extent. Due to the fact that the system to be installed does not meet the energy consumption of the ship, a consumer choice has been made which is equivalent to the energy produced. The energy of the system to be installed has been calculated and the excess energy produced is stored for the times when it will be de-energized. This system, which is designed to be monitored remotely via the Internet, cost calculation has been made on the vessel which works with diesel fuel and after seven years the established system could compansate itself cost. Most important one is, the amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere will be reduced by approximately 143 tons at the end of the year.
