Consequences of unseaworthiness of ships concerning to insurance cover

The consequences of unseaworthiness of ship concerning to insurance cover in marine insurance are examined in this work. In part one of the study, firstly, the definitions of ships arranged by the regulations in both maritime law and marine insurance law regarding the seaworthiness of ships are examined and then the elements of the elements seaworthiness are examined. In part two on the consequences seaworthiness in the field of marine insurance, the matters are examined regarding to the applicable English law and Turkish law to the insurance contract.
