Abstract (EN)
Aim: To measure match activity profile of young soccer players during competitive matches and evaluate the relationship between maximal oxygen uptake and match activity profile Methods: Eighteen soccer players from U-13 team of a soccer club were recruited to the study. Yo-Yo IR1 test was applied to players to measure maximal oxygen uptake levels. Match activity profile is determined by using GPS devices which placed into the players' uniform. Results: Total distance covered by players was 4772±919 meters. The players, covered the 2425,2 meters in first half and 2110,9 in second half. Activity profile of players: walking and jogging: 3391,3 m; moderate intensity running: 972,2 m; high intensity running: 294,2 m and sprint: 96,4 m. There is a significant and strong correlation between match activity profile and maximal oxygen uptake level of players.
