Abstract (EN)
-97- 8. SUMMARY The purpose of study was to investigate the effect of special technical training to the skill development in non-dominant legs of young soccer players who have two different age groups. Total 65 volunteer soccer players from 4 young soccer teams participiated to the study. Teams were separated randomly into the experimental and control groups of 12-14 years and 16-18 years. Individual in experimental group were applied to fundamental drills with ball following warm-up during 3 days in a week for 15-20 minutes. The control group was also participiated to routine soccer training. Antropometric measurements and proper to soccer 7 skills tests were used for both dominant and non-dominant legs of soccer players in pre-test and post-test during 10 weeks. To analyse the statistical dates, Paired-Samples T test was used to evaluate the differences into the group, Independent-Samples T test was used to evaluate the differences between the groups. And also SPSS 13,0 packet program was used to determine the level of P<0,01, P<0,05. In the result of the study, physical and antropometric characteristics of experimental and control groups had a parallelism. There was no significant diffences between non-dominant legs of the control groups but there was a significant differences between non-dominant legs of experimental groups in the skill development of P<0,01, P<0,05 levels. It was shown that there was much more skill development in the experimental group of 12-14 years than the experimental group of 16-18 years. Key Words: Soccer, Training, Skill, Non-Dominant Leg
