Political and cultural attitudes of youth -Ankara sample-

The study of ?Political and Cultural Attitudes of Youth? aims to explain the political and cultural attitudes of the youth groups the age of who ranges from 15 to 30. Based on a holistic cultural theoretical perspective, a scale for measuring the political and cultural attitudes of the youth has been prepared without making any categorization within itself. The qualitative methods were exploited in the process of preparing the attitude scale; then, the quantitative methods were used, data were collected and statistical analyses were performed. In this context, the research was performed within a positivist methodology. The research also includes an experience of the trial of making a theoretical frame during the development of the attitude scale. In the research, basically, the correlations between the demographical features, cultural variables, different identity definitions, political preferences and political and cultural attitudes were analysed. As a conclusion, this research includes a large and descriptive analysis about the political and cultural attitudes of youth - especially the political and cultural attitudes of youth of Ankara belonging age groups between 15 and 30.
