Abstract (EN)

As widely known, social, cultural, artistic, scientific, personal and professional development of young people starts in the family then expands through their school and peer group circles. Enrichment activities based on volunteerism provided by NGO's to young people are a part of this process. These activities, as observed in the case of Germany, are not perceived as adding value. The state is striving to find solutions to counter the radicalization of young people through compulsory youth programs. However, if such youth programs of Muslim NGO's are taken into consideration, they represent the greatest measure against radicalization of young people. In Germany, as in all of Europe, rising racist sentiments question the existence of Muslims in the country and these movements negatively propagate that Muslim NGO's encourage radicalism. The first part of our study examines the arrival and development of Islam in Germany. A growth that has led to the formation of Muslim NGO's in Germany over time. Furthermore, within the framework of the German constitution, discussions on the relationship between Muslim NGO's and the state have been presented in the study. In the second part, the process of radicalization of young people, factors influencing their radicalization, and ways to protect them from radicalization are outlined. The final section provides information about the youth activities of Muslim NGO's.
