Abstract (EN)

Sports has become a whole of organizations that are continuing in the world with many competition types both nationally and internationally. For this reason, all sports organizations around the world and the clubs, leagues, sports competitions that make up this organization come together around the rules of the phenomenon of sports. The area that sports management addresses with the introduction of many other management sciences is expanding. What distinguishes sports management from other management sciences is that the goals of sports science and the needs and conditions specific to sports are different. This difference has made it necessary to manage the sport in accordance with its goals and needs. For this reason, sports management has emerged. In this study, participation in the management and employee attitudes in Turkish sports management were examined by discussing the opinions of the employees of the Provincial Directorate of Youth Services and Sports in Antalya, Isparta and Burdur provinces. Whether employees' perceptions of participation in management and their attitude levels show a statistically significant difference according to age, gender, graduation area, administrative task, professional status, professional experience, and the type of province they are connected to; examines whether there is a significant relationship between the attendance levels of the employees and their attitudes. According to the results of the research, it was found that there was a significant difference when the opinions of the employees in terms of loyalty, teamwork, supportive climate and communication were examined according to the gender variable (P <0.05). No significant differences were found according to the age variable (P>0.05). No significant differences were found in the variable of graduation field. Considering the administrative task variable, only a significant difference was observed in the bureaucratic climate dimension (P <0.05). As a result, administrative tasks were evaluated by making Mann-Whitney U test between each other. It is seen that the obtained values are significant between Branch Manager-Facility Supervisor, Branch Manager-Other, Chief-Facility Supervisor, Chief-Other. Considering the professional status variable, it was found that there was a significant difference only in the negative interaction dimension. No significant differences were found according to the professional experience variable. When looking at the relevant province variable, significant differences were found in negative interaction, hierarchy and communication dimensions (P <0.05). It was concluded that determining the positive and negative factors affecting the participation and employee attitudes of the employees may contribute to the increase of the quality of the sports management process and positive changes in the understanding of sports management.
