Abstract (EN)
With the changes in science and technology, information can be accessed more easily and quickly. This has affected every aspect of life as well as the economic sphere. With the technological developments, the conditions of competition that have reached the global dimension have become more difficult. Human resources are important for organizations to adapt to tough competition conditions and to survive. Organizations must give importance to their human resources in order to maintain their existence and become effective in challenging competition conditions. The aim of this study is to examine the job satisfaction and organizational commitment levels of coaches working in the provincial directorates of youth and sports. For this purpose, the job satisfaction of the trainers working in 14 provinces in Elazığ, Bingöl, Muş, Erzurum, Malatya, Van, Erzincan, Kars, Iğdır, Ardahan, Hakkari, Ağrı, Bitlis, Tunceli, located in the Eastern Anatolia Region between 2019-2020. Organizational commitment levels were determined and the relationship between trainers' job satisfaction and organizational scales sub-dimensions were examined. Survey model, which is one of the quantitative research models, was used in the research. Personal information form to determine the socio-demographic characteristics of coaches; "Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale" was used to determine job satisfaction levels and "Organizational Commitment Scale" was used to determine levels of commitment. The data obtained from the questionnaire forms were transferred to SPSS 22.0 package program and analyzed. As a result of the research, it was determined that there was a high level of organizational commitment and job satisfaction of coaches, and there was a statistically significant relationship between coaches' socio-demographic characteristics and job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
