Analysis of aggression level of the 9th. class students of general high school according to some variables and the situations of triat anxiety

With this research, it is aimed to research the relation between triat anxiety and some demographic variables, aggression levels of the 9th. class students of general high school.This research is designed according to descriptive method and relational scan model. The parameters have been collected with the method of categorical sampling from the 6 of the general high schools which are in Şahinbey and Şehitkamil in Gaziantep and with the method of random group sampling from the 2 classes of each school. 479 high schools 9th. class students have joined this research. With the tools of collecting parameters, `Aggression Questionnaire? which is developed by Buss and Perry (1992), and which is updated by Buss and Warren(2000), which is adapted to Turkish by Can(2002), the `State-Trait Anxiety Inventory-Trait Anxiety Form? from the stock sheet of State-Triat Anxiety which is developed by Spielberger, Gorsuch, Laushene and which is adaptted to Turkish by Öner and Le Compte (1985) and Personal Information Source which are developed by searchers are used. Kruskal Wallis-H test and Mann Whitney-U test were applied in the situations in variances which is not equal which is belong to meters of the results of LSD test and Levene F test to determine the different research of Pearson moment?s correlation coefficient, linear regression, mean, percentage scatter, İndependent samples t-test, One way ANOVA in analysing of parameters.In the result of searching analysis of parameters, positive determined relation has been found between total aggresion levels and triat anxiety levels In addition, regression analysis showed that the level of trait anxiety was an significant predictor for the level of aggression. It is determined that the students? aggresion levels are effected from their genders, their families? behaviours, the relation between family and school and joining social activities while parents? education level, socio-economic income and the state of residence don?t effect this. Findings are discussed with literature meters. And with these findings, some suggestions are developed.
