Fixed point theorems on generalized metric spaces

This study consists of four parts. In the first part, the studies related to the topic of the thesis made in the literature are given. In the second part, the basic definitions and theorems to be used in this study are mentioned. In the third part, some theorems related to the fixed points of a (α,ϕ)-Meir-Keeler contractive mapping defined on a generalized rectangular b-metric space are proved. In the last section, the existence of coincidence points for two mappings defined on a b-metric space are investigated with the help of the C_F- simulation function.
