Abstract (EN)

This study examines the role of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in transforming Human Resource Management (HRM) practices within Saudi corporations, with a specific focus on employee recruitment and training. Using a qualitative single-case study approach, the research explores how HR professionals interact with GenAI tools, the benefits these technologies provide, and the challenges associated with their implementation. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with seven participants representing HR, recruitment, learning and development, and digital transformation units within a major Saudi organization. The thematic analysis identified four key themes: adoption and application of GenAI in HR functions, perceived benefits, challenges and ethical concerns, and organizational factors that support AI integration. The findings indicate that GenAI enhances operational efficiency, improves decision-making transparency, and enables personalized employee learning. However, the study also highlights concerns related to data privacy, employee resistance, and the need for ethical guidelines and human oversight. The results underscore the importance of leadership support, adequate technological infrastructure, and continuous training to ensure successful AI adoption. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on AI-driven HRM and provides practical recommendations for organizations seeking to integrate GenAI responsibly and effectively in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
