Abstract (EN)

Gearboxes are widely used in every field of industry for the purpose ofdecreasing and increasing of velocity. They need different designs according totheir utilization domains. Classically used analytical approach based solutionsthat works based on the strength formulas obtained experimental data consumelong solution time. To overcome this problem a gearbox wheels design is carriedout by using Genetic Algorithm (GA). Gear trains used in gearbox are spurgear, helical and bevel and it is optimized in accordance with an objectivefunction of minimum material volume condition at one and two stages. In theoptimization the transmitted power, transmission ratio and revolution of pinionare considered. Tooth bending, surface pitting and limits of the variablesdefined are used in construction solutions. The results obtained have beencompared to the analytical approach based solutions, and it is observed thatthey were in harmony with one another.
