IDENTIFICATION OF QUOTIENTS OF PENETRATION OF CHEMICALSTHROUGH SKIN AND MOLECULAR STRUCTURE BY USING GENETICALGORITHMS(PhD Thesis)Aysun COŞKUNGAZI UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYJune 2006ABSTRACTThe scientists in the past when they were trying to solve the problem ofrelationship between parameters by using trial and errors method, dueto increase of the number of parameters problem of deadlock or non-evaluation of the solution has occurred. They tried to find newtechniques in order to solve the problems of parameters and positiveresults were taken from genetic algorithms of artificial intelligence.Genetic algorithm which has an optimization technique has beenidentified as a non-traditional type of research techniques. Theimplementation of genetic algorithm have been realized in theidentification of quotients of penetration of chemicals through skin andDelphi 7.0 and MOLGA ( MOLecule and Genetic Algorithm) programwas set up in this work. Genetic algorithm method was used in solvingthe problems of multi parameters optimization problems. 9 parameterswere taken as the basis of the molecular structure of the chemicals, andrandom method has chosen in the optimization of the geneticalgorithm. As the coherence function for the implementation of geneticalgorithm regression equation of penetration through skin quotientsbased on the parameters have been used. It was seen that, when thequotients identified according to the MOLGA program results andmolecular structure were compared there was very little margin of error.At the same time, molecular structure of the chemicals within MOLGAprogram has to be changed and developed.Science Code : 702.3.006: Quotients of penetration, genetic algorithms,Key WordsPage Number : 112Adviser : Assist.
