Preparation of coordinator teacher placement chart using genetic algorithm

With the existence of human beings, science and technology are the leading criteria in the developing world. Innovations in the field of science and technology have become open to new phenomena and developments in human life. One of these points is the concept of human education and training. In the field of informatics, these innovations are integrated into the system. One of the integrated structures is course distribution schedules. The course distribution programs were built on this basis and ensured that the education was placed on a planned and scheduled basis. One of the most important levels of education in our country and in the world is the institutions providing vocational education. One of the steps applied in the functioning of vocational high schools and vocational education level is Skill Training in Business. Within the scope of this course, students find internship opportunities in areas open to practice such as company and factory which are appropriate to the practical knowledge they learned in school life. During this internship process, the teachers who are assigned to the students are assigned as coordinator teachers in order to fully transfer the practical knowledge of the students to the practice. These assigned coordinator teachers are also prepared for the business life in coordination with the management personnel responsible for the education and development of the field students. In this study, a software has been developed to optimize the coordinator teacher placement schedule by using genetic algorithm. Thus, it will be ensured that the coordinator teacher to be assigned to the students in vocational high school or vocational education within the scope of the related course will be determined by considering certain criteria and constraints within the scope of this study.
