Abstract (EN)

Over the years, telecommunication technologies have been rapidly developed and nowadays they still keep growing. High efficiency and high-speed data transfer become compulsory as a result of these developments. Prominent electronic component producer companies are also supporting new studies that aim to provide high-speed and energy efficiency. There are reasons such as heat generation in semiconductor-based processors and, correspondingly, the limited operating speed of the systems underlie the need for mentioned studies. As a potential solution to overcome these problems, optical information process technologies that use light as the main information carrier instead of electrical signals in information process devices come into question. One of promising application in the optical information process is nanophotonic technology. This technology paves the way to adjust optical features flexibly by designing structures in subwavelength scales based on the metamaterial concept. Plasmonics are one of these applications in question and has been pioneered in nanophotonic studies for many years. Nevertheless, plasmonic devices have efficiency trouble due to the losses associated with the electronic band structure of metals at optical frequencies. Recently, nanostructures with a high refractive index that commits low loss and high efficiency are considered as an alternative route to plasmonics by virtue of providing strong scattering effieciency. So, in this thesis, nano light sources that make high-speed switching and provide the internal and external communication of nanophotonic devices have been designed by utilizing the magnetic Purcell effect of all-dielectric with high refractive index nanoresonators. This study includes three different nano resonator designs. The light-matter interaction of first and second nanoresonators made by exploiting optical characteristics of silicon material has been examined in the visible spectral range of 400-700 nm. The light-matter interaction of the last nano resonator design consisting of germanium material has been investigated in the near-infrared spectral range of 1000-2500 nm. The scattering behaviors, near-field properties, and magnetic Purcell effects of these nanoresonators have been analyzed via simulation software that uses finite difference time domain method.
