Abstract (EN)
In this study, extended linear generating functions for some orthogonal polynomials are investigated. Thesis consists of four sections. In the first section, preliminary information, some definitions which will be used in the other sections, lemmas and theorems are given. In the second section, linear generating functions of some orthogonal polynomials are mentioned. In the third chapter, extended linear generating functions for orthogonal polynomials given in the second chapter are presented. And, in the last chapter the Rodrigues formula, differential equation, orthogonality, norm and extended linear generating function of extended Jacobi polynomials are dealt with.Key Words : Hypergeometric function, generating function, orthogonality, Rodrigues formula, Pochhammer symbol.
