Abstract (EN)

In this study, Al and Al6061 matrices were produced in different weight ratios and in different sizes by using expanded perlite reinforcement and powder metallurgy method. TiH2 was used as the foaming agent in these samples. The produced samples are frosted at a certain temperature. The prepared specimens were reinforced at different ratios with the expanded perlite, and the effect of the stabilization of the reinforcement was investigated. The densities of the produced samples were determined, SEM, Thermal Conductivity Coefficient, Mechanical Tests and Microstructure analyzes were made. As a result of the studies carried out, it has been found that the expanded perlite supplements provide cell stabilization in the foam material. In foaming, it has been determined that the foaming time, reinforcement size and ratio, temperature and foaming properties are the main parameters affecting foam formation.
