ÖZET GEOMETRİ VE MATRİS SPEKTRAL PROBLEMLERİ Murat Altunbulak Matematik Bölümü Yüksek Lisans Tez Yöneticisi: Profesör Alexander A. Klyachko Eylül, 2002 Bu tezin amacı, Klyachko, Knutson ve Tao'nun GLn(C) temsillerinin tensör çarpımlarının ayrışmasını ve Hermitian matris toplamlarının öz değerlerini karakterize eden bazı güncel çalışmalarının tetkikini ve uygulamalarını ver mektir. Ayrıca Grassmannian çokkatlıları ve Torik tutamlarının ilgili uygula malarını anlatıyoruz. Anahtar kelimeler: Hermitian spektral problemleri, Tensör çarpımı, Schu bert Kalkulus, Toric tutamları. iv
