Abstract (EN)

In this study, the resistance of high temperature on concrete with polyvinyl alcohol fiber and geopolymer cement exposed to high temperature were investigated. Fly ash obtained from the thermal power plants in Kutahya Seyit Ömer. The concrete mixture used the 0-8 mm and 8-16 mm aggregate. Furthermore, 0%, 1% and 2% polyvinyl alcohol fiber is used in the concrete mixture. The sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate solution was used for activating alkaline sodium silicate solution. The fresh concrete was placed in cubes and prisms (75x75x300 mm and 100x100x100 mm). The specimens were heated in an oven for 24 hours to produce geopolymer. After the specimens were kept in the air curing for 28 days, at 20° C the samples were exposed to 20 ° C, 400 ° C, 600 ° C and 800 ° C high temperature .Then, the ultrasonic pulse velocity, compressive strength and flexural strength tests were carried out.
