Abstract (EN)

In this work, we discussed these topics; map projections, deformation analysis? in map projections, deformation presantation types, quantitative analysis and visualization of projections for interpretation of quantitative analysis. Tissot indikatris, colours method, isograms method which are different methods for deformation analysis in map projections are used. Visualizations of deformations are provided. In practise, pseudo projections which aren?t be in real terms are prefered. Sinuziodial projection which is generally used in representation of world maps and large part of continent is examined. For each selected map projections a 15?x15? geographical grid network is formed. Grid points in map projections, the minimum linear distortion b, the maximum linear distortion ?, linear distortion along the paralel k, linear distortion along the meridian h, the areal distortion value p, maximum angular distortion ? and coordinate values have calculated.Mathematica 5.0 software is used for map projection?s partial differentation?s solution. In calculations Microsoft Excel 2007, and Cad-based programs are used. For ease of calculation earth surface is considered of globe and earth?s radius is considered of one unit. The calculated values are visualizationed with using ArcGIS 9.2 software and ArcINFO interface.Key Words: Cartography, Map projection, Pseudo projection, Deformation analysis
