Therefore, thesolid waste recycling has emerged as an alternative solution to theproblems of solid waste in the country. The waste paper within thewastes recycling has been investigated how and which way it has anopportunity to be examined thoroughly by having been explained thedevelopments of recycling system both in the world and in our country,their necessities, their fields of usage, and the system they are used.With some statistical researches, the amount of paper -both producedand consumed- has been found and also Turkey projection of paperconsumption has been defined till 2020 year according to the simpleregression. At that point, with the probability of showing % 1 increaseeach year within our rate of paper recycling of %36, it is apparentlyseen that the waste paper which we cannot recycle has given quitemuch loss to Turkey?s economy and its forest. And thus, theeconomical value of papers which thrown away and cannot be recycledwill be estimated about 557 257 026 YTL in 2010 and 952 929 887 YTL in2020. Furthermore, in case of being produced all our paper from thewood, 188 661 he. forest field will be lost in 2010 and 339 527 he invii2020. At the same time in this work, the system of collection of wastepaper used in Turkey and in the world, the separation and its transporthave been mentioned with its present and planned condition.
