Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, elimination of current harmonics and the compensation of reactive power in three phase AC network have been discussed. A serial three phase RL load connected in paralel with three phase bridge rectifier as a nonlinear load. To eliminate the current harmonics and compensate the reactive power that was absorbed from nonlinear loads, a voltage source shunt active power filter with a current source shunt active power fitler are designed and compared, these two methods have been simulated by MATLAB-SİMULINK program. In this Project, ``The Instantaneous Reactive Power Theory?? as a control method have been used dynamic hysteresis band PWM controller, the results of simulation show us that voltage source shunt active power filter is more suited than current source shunt active power filter.
