Molecular investigation of some lichen samples called from Gevne valley (Konya-Antalya)

The rDNA (ITS) regions of some specimens collected from the Gevne valley located in the borders of Konya-Antalya are replicated in Thermal Cycler using ITS IF and ITS 4R primers. The amplified fragments are sequenced by sanger method. As a result of analysis (Acarospora cervina, Myriolesis semipallida, Lecanora rupicola, Toninia sedifolia, Melanohalea exasperata, Xanthoria parietina, Caloplaca cerina) phylogenetic relationships of lichen species were determined. Phylogenetic dendograms were created by molecular analysis of the rDNA ITS gene regions of the samples that were diagnosed. The locality information, ecology and description of the species studied and their distribution were determined. This thesis will help to reveal the biodiversity of the Gevne valley (Konya / Antalya).
