Abstract (EN)
Effects of roughness on pressure loss in the entrance and fully developed regions of pipe flow is analyzed experimentally. The Turbulence fluctuations are also taken into account when measuring the pressure loss and both the instant and mean intensities are presented by graphs. Furtermore, based on time averaged pressure loss in pipes, the Darcy friction factor (f) was found and its variation with respect to Reynolds number is presented by graphs. Keywords:Friction, Flow, Roughness.
