Abstract (EN)

Guitar Competitions started to be organized in Europe with the 20th century, and today it has an important place for guitarists. The International Francisco Tárrega (Benicassim) and the International Michele Pittaluga (Alessandria) Guitar Competitions are known as the first competitions in which guitar concertos were performed in the final stage. In this study, it was in vestigated which concertos performed by the musicians who won the first prize in the determined competitions in the final stage. In relation to the selection of the pieces played in the competitions, the guitar parts of the pieces in the concerto form were examined, and the sections and passages that were thought to be problematic were determined. The solutions brought by the musicians who won the first prize in the competition and great guitar virtuosos to the problematic passages were examined and the purposes of these solutions were examined. As a result of there search; Concerto selections performed by the musicians who won the first prize in the determined guitar competitions in the final stage of the competitions were revealed. The solutions brought by the guitarists to the problematic passages in these works are presented as performance suggestions.
