Abstract (EN)

This thesis allows to examine the flow performance of the design of globe valves and whether energy policies are available. Within the scope of the study, the role of globe valves in fluid control and analysis of existing designs were made. Effects of different valve geometries on pressure loss, flow regularity and turbulence effect with computer aided simulations (CFD). The findings show that optimized valve designs demonstrate precise inlet control while reducing energy consumption. Simulation results reveal significant flow interruption due to changes in the geometric structure of the valve body and disc. In particular, rounded edges and optimized flow paths minimize turbulent pressure losses. presented new design strategies that will contribute to the reduction.
