Özet (EN)

Nowadays, with development technology, digital systems repelaced with analog systems. Thisreplacement appears significantly in communications systems. After replacement from analogmodulation techniques to digital modulation techniques, blocks in modulation structures hasbeen implemented in digital integrated circuits. Analog structures used in digital systems,especially for wireless communication, have been used to modulate/demodulate the signalfrequency in high frequencies. Furthermore, at application not in very high frequeny, most ofthis operations might be also implemented in digital integrated circuits.The most important problems of digital communication systems according to analog systemsespecially in wireless communication , are more bandwith necessity, cost of the receivers andmore complexity of the receivers. Get ride of this problems, a lot of digital signal processingand digital modulation techniques have been used.In this work, A Gaussian minimum shift keying (GMSK) modulator and demodulator havebeen researched and implemented. GMSK is a digital modulation technique that provideefficiently used bandwidh and has simple demodulator structures, but it has more bit error rateto reduce bandwidth. GMSK compared with other digital modulation techniques and alsoothers techniques are have been researched and implemented. Implementations have beencomposed both Matlab in computer and C in ADSP-BF533 from Analog Devices BlackfinDSP family.
