The effects of migration on income and consumption patterns: A research on Syrian immigrants who living in Gaziantep

In the wake of the Arab Spring, the political developments took place in the Middle East countries had overtaken in a massive area of influence and the Syrian Arab Republic. The Syrian Arab Republic was also affected by that political transformation since 2011 and continue to be affected. Almost half of its population were forced to displaced and live in refugee status in neighbouring countries. Many people forced to displace from their homes, neighbourhoods, cities and countries In consequence of that political transformation. As a result, those people had to give up and leave behind their social status, consumption behaviours, social environment and welfare levels and adopt the circumstances and rule of laws of the country of arrival. In order to examine the differentiation of consumption patterns, the consequence of different consumption behaviours in the case of crisis and uncertainty; Twelve Syrian doctors were interviewed by semi-structured in-depth interview technique in the light of the context of Syrian doctors affected by the situation above As a result of this research, it is acknowledged that there is difference in Syrian Doctors' consumption behaviour in the event of crisis and uncertainty situation
