Abstract (EN)
Turkey aims to gradually reduce dependence on abroad in terms of energy resources and use. Investments and technological developments in reducing dependence abroad are closely monitored. In light of the studies conducted, the use of renewable energy sources is increasing every day and strategy plans are announced for increasing use. The use of renewable resources is a common decision of all countries of the world on reducing environmental impacts. Although renewable resources have limited use in this context, the balance is gradually changing. Among renewable sources, solar is among the most preferred sources. In terms of usage, electric energy is usually obtained by installing solar power plants (SPV). Solar power plants are at a disadvantage in a few points, paving the way for clean energy for us. At the beginning of the disadvantage is that due to the high installation area, losses in the integrity of the land habitat occur and GES installations are not allowed on agricultural land. Asian countries focus on the installation of floating solar power plants (FPV) in order to prevent land losses, increase the efficiency that falls due to temperature in solar power plants, and prevent evaporation. Hydroelectric power plants and dams are generally preferred for the installation of FPV. Turkey has a serious potential for the installation of FPV with its dams and lakes. Because it is located in a geography where water stress is high, it is obvious that it can reduce losses with FPV. In this study, 2 MW FPV installation analysis was performed on the Gokce dam, which meets the fresh water needs of Yalova province. In the analysis study, it was calculated that while 0.32% of the electricity needs of Yalova province were met from FPV, there was a 6% increase in output power compared to terrestrial solar power plants, preventing the loss of fresh water of 16,558 m3 that may occur with evaporation within a year. In addition, techno-economic reviews of the power plant, which was established using PVsyst, PVGIS and Skelion programs, were included.
