Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine Gökhan Akçiçek's children's poetry books in terms of 'childlike sensitivity. Within this framework, the children's poems in the aforementioned books have been analyzed under twelve headings identified as elements of childlike sensitivity, namely "family love, friendship, peace, love of nature and animals, sensitivity, self-sacrifice, imagination/dream, excitement, curiosity, play, sharing, and respect". The study was conducted based on document analysis, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The material of the study consists of Gökhan Akçiçek's poetry books titled Bulutlar Örtmese Güneşi, Kuş Resimli Kazak, and Küçük İyilikler Sokağı. The obtained data were analyzed through descriptive analysis, expressed with quantitative data, presented in tables, and interpreted. At the end of the study, it was determined that all elements of childlike sensitivity were addressed in Gökhan Akçiçek's three poetry books under examination. The most frequently addressed elements, respectively, are love of nature and animals, family love, sensitivity, play, and peace. While the elements of curiosity, imagination/dream, friendship, and excitement are addressed at an average level in the poems, the elements of self-sacrifice, sharing, and respect are not prominently featured. The results obtained indicate that Gökhan Akçiçek takes childlike sensitivity into account in his children's poetry books.
