Abstract (EN)

GBH which is located in Isuara Region and Konya Plain provided valuable discoveries for Anatolian Neolithic due to its location close in Catalhoyuk. When we mention about Late Neolithic – Early Chalcolithic Period definitely first settlement that comes to mind is Konya Plain. Konya Plain contains typical Late Neolithic- Early Chalcolithic age conditions archeologically. Lifestyle of agriculture societies do not provide an active and dynamic life cycle like subsistence economy of hunter-gatherers. In these circumstances many disorders observed which is related to characteristic pathological lifestyle of Neolithic societies. The first and longest habitation appears to have occurred in Hoyuk during the Neolithic period. With a Paleopathological researches many archaeo-logical findings claimed about GBH peoples lifestyle, social economic structure, health conditions, feeding habits and dietary diversity. At least 37 different human remains discovered in structure levels of GBH which belongs to different ages of Neolithic and Chalcolithic Periods. These human remains has not been provided all details about social life 4460 years ago but definitely contributed very important discoveries to understand hidden details about the archeological knowledge to improve new approaches. Osteoarthritis and osteophyte which Paleopathological disorders were found due to dynamic type of a body. Especially tensile stress and more arthritis observed on the body types mostly on the upper extremities with rhomboid fossa findings which bring to mind agricultural activities. Also another paleopathological disorder enthesopathy related to locomotor system was found during the research. According to research results GBH also shows a quiet dynamic structure compare to agriculture society which gives us an idea hunting also was part of their social life. However frequency of traumata inside to society observed as a low. Protic hyperostosis which occurred in a skull and cribra orbital which occurred inside the eyehole were another pathologic findings discovered. Reason of these disorders mostly associated with Mediterranean anemia but actually we have already known these disorders caused due to iron deficiency, bowel problems etc. according to literature. Protic Hyperostosis which has known produced by immune system against malaria observed in a low quantities proved us Mediterranean location was not given any advantage for this society against malaria. On the other hand this might be also an important sign for a cause of premature deaths in society. %9.9 dental caries rate also accordant with agricultural societies dental and oral care statistics. Also dental abscess rate %3.71 and dental wear rate were found as 4 and 4+. 'Low' degree tartar rate has found as 59.67 and 'mid' level periodontal diseases found as %85,7. AMTL calculated as %5,5 and hypoplasia %6,49.
