Abstract (EN)
The Uludağ fir (Abies nordmanniana subsp. Bornmuelleriana), an endemic subspecies for our country, was selected from the Kastamonu Ilgaz region at an altitude of 1630 meters. The live and extracts of the cut firwood were milled with the mill and extracts were prepared for use. Chemical contents of extracts and sapwood extracts, antimicrobial and DNA preservation properties were investigated in the laboratory. In the study, the chemical contents of fir wood extracts were as follows: Caffeic acid, 74 ± 4 µg/g extract for active extract, and 88 ± 4 88 µg/g extract for extract of heartwood, Epikatechin, 556 µg/g extract for active extract and 502 µg/g extract for extract extract. g extract, Benzoic acid, extract of 19618 µg/g for extract of living extract, 4128 µg/g extract and self extract for wood extract, Kaempferol, extract of 4350 µg/g for alive extract and 1836 µg/g extract for heartwood and 1594 extract of apigenin for heartwood extract It contains 1108 µg/g extract for tedirg / µg/g extract and heartwood. It is recommended that these substances, which are effective to prevent microbial deterioration in skin diseases and foods, can be utilized as needed to prevent cancer and reduce the risk of development, in the high level of compounds found in firewood extracts chemical content analysis. In the antimicrobial activity analysis, wood extracts against 16 bacterial strains were evaluated. The results showed that extracts of sap and sapwood had mild antimicrobial activity against Salmonella enteritidis, Streptococcus pneumoniae and Proteus mirabilis. DNA protection activity analysis was applied to all compounds in the DNA protection test. 54% DNA conservation at 50 mg/ml was determined in the sapwood extract experiment. As a result of the extract test, 57% of 100 mg/ml and 64% results with 50 mg/ml were the most effective DNA protection activities. These compounds have the potential to be used as a drug additive, potentially based on their effects on bacterial and cancer cell lines.
