Abstract (EN)
The aim of study was to evaluate the effect of the newly designed for management of impacted teeth which has direct connection to the attachment to the tooth, providing the mechanical connection between the attachment and the anchor unit, preventing formation of repair tissue post-surgery, and creating a new management appliance containing the force generating element on it, testing appliances in vitro. Nickel-titanium closed coil springs, named as light, medium and high according to the amount of force determined by the firms belonging to 3 different companies, are placed in 2 different size tooth management appliance. Determined the elasticity spring constants of each of the springs of 2 different sized which is short and long appliances evaluated half of maximum activation and maximum activation in vitro were determined and the relationship between groups were examined. Based on the data obtained, statistical analysis and the effectiveness of the appliance were determined. Many of the amounts of force measured in the half and maximum activation of the nickel titanium closed coil springs of different manufacturer and forces placed in 2 length tooth management devices varied. Differences were statistically significant (p <0.05). As result of this study, the efficacy of tooth management devices has been proven in-vitro and further clinical studies have been made in this area. Key Words: impacted teeth, management, orthodontics, biomechanics, eruption force
