Abstract (EN)

The purpose of the thesis is to introduce an energy quality analyzer that has both hardware and software sides. Developed analyzer has a data acquisition card, which uses voltage/current sensors to measure a period of values by zero detection method and this card stores these values to RAM. The data acquisition card send these stored data to a embedded PC running MATLAB Server Pages. MATLAB Server Pages is a new framework for MATLAB software. MATLAB Server Pages framework supports n-tier architecture so it can visualize the data on a web page, can store the data on a database and can use any MATLAB installed computer to calculate energy quality units. The framework is developed under Java coding and now it is being used by Department of Naval Architecture of Yildiz Technical University for Prime Ministry State Planning Organization KAAN project. And also Athina Technical University ? Greek Energy Ministry cooperation uses MATLAB Server Pages for energy management and intelligent reporting. Belonging data acquisition card and embedded PC in developed analyzer can measure voltage and current values and can analyze energy harmonics. Moreover, it has a scenario feature, so it is possible to know the energy quality variance in case of a new load installation. The system and network architecture of the developed anayzer has remote management and remote processing features too. Any energy consultant can run the device and make analysis.
