Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT The Difficulties Of Visually Imparled Music Teachers İn Their Profession The aim of this research is to point out the problems of visually imparied music teachers charged in the formal educational institutions and to find solutions by their own evaluations. Teachers of pre and high schools for visually imparied students forms the universe of mis research. In the research surveys and interview forms used for gathering data. Surveys and interview forms developed by researcher. To gather data surveys and interview forms evaluated face to face with the teachers for visually imparied students. To analyse datas percentage (%), frequency (f) analysis used and tally technique is also used to evaluate the statements in the interview forms. After analysing datas, the results shows that visually imparied music teachers have problems mostly in following up the developments in in-service training and music education, negative mucis culture nearby the schools, prejudgement of people, not being active in the after-lesson activities, not being effective in the student- centered education and not taking advantage of using educational instruments sufficiently. m
